Obituary

Arnold J. Drobny, 78, beloved husband of the late Susan Lee Drobny; loving father of Allison (Jim) Popowski; devoted son of the late Sarah and Charles Drobny; dear brother of Irving (Arlene) Drobny and the late Sheldon (Anita) Drobny; treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many. Due to the pandemic and out of concern for our extended family and friends, services and shiva will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. To Arnie’s Family,
It’s been a number of years but my memories of sitting in services with Arnie on Shabbat mornings and schmoozing afterwards are still fresh. We would compare notes on our families, solve the world’s problems, and find something humorous to share which would lift our spirits. Arnie was a decent, caring and genuinely considerate person concerned about others, and his passing is a loss to our community. May his memory be for a blessing, and may you all be comforted together with the other mourners in Zion and Jerusalem.
